"Passion is what drives a person to be successful" Kezia has always believed in showing passion and dedication to her craft, but the one thing she has always relied on, was her trust in God that he would lead her in everything she does.
Growing up in the salon and beauty community and seeing both parents working successfully in their careers was a very big influence in her career path today. As a young girl she has always shown interest in the creative/artistic side of any industry, may it be in fashion, beauty or music that it was a very natural transition when she later on decided to pursue hairdressing. Before she found her passion in hair she first explored other branches of beauty. After graduating she takes on a short course in Fashion Design and Merchandising in ‘SoFA Design Institute’ which prompts her into taking a makeup course. After graduating she first starts working at South Salon as a makeup artist, Kezia has always found joy in making people feel their most beautiful self.
While working at the salon she would see all the different interactions working in the salon and was able to have a deeper understanding of what it meant to be a hairdresser which later on inspired her to decided to go and take a 44 week course at ‘Sassoon Academy’ in Santa Monica California.Where she goes on and wins best look at their final show.
Kezia has always been open to the knowledge of hairdressing and is always in search for new trends and techniques. Not moments after graduating she takes on another course in ‘The Business of Balayage’ where she took a one-on-one course to have better knowledge and understanding, as well as taking on another Airbrush class in ‘ChicStudios’. Since moving back, she has been working along side her parents as one of the Creative Directors.
